Civivi – Altus

The Altus is an easy-carrying crowd-pleaser that really hits all the marks for a utility EDC knife. First, the fairly symmetrical drop point blade is a hair under three inches for legality concerns in many localities. Then, you have an ergonomic handle with a natural flared guard, a reversible pocket clip, and a user-friendly button lock mechanism. Finally, is the action. Caged ceramic bearings, even at this price point, create a smooth opening that we don’t think could be improved in any way. This is the pinnacle of pivots and the heart of what makes the Altus such a worthy EDC choice.
